from the fringe
into the fray
Throughout history when God moves in big ways, He leads His people into the wilderness to the fringe to prepare them to be sent back into the fray. The fray describes most of our cities which are consumed with intense activity and noise. The goal of this blog is to encourage and equip people to carry out God’s purpose in the fray of life by time in the fringe being strengthened by God.

Meshell and I could […]

Paul encouraged the church in Corinth with these words, “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in […]

(2 Chronicles 34-35; 2 Kings 22-23) The underlying feeling today is never to be dependent on anyone. This is at the root of the American story and dream and western independence. However, Jesus says just the opposite – deny yourself and completely depend on Him. Why is it important to feel dependent on God? What […]

( 2 Kings 18-20; 2 Chronicles 29-32) Are we in spiritual and political uncertain times today? We can learn from Hezekiah many lessons on how to respond in political and uncertain times. Background (2 Kings 17) History of […]
